Remembering January 8th

It was a quiet day.

January 8th was a day of reflection, community, unity, and peace. It had been the 1 year anniversary since the tragedy in Tucson and we’ll never forgot those we lost that day. Volunteers for Ben’s Bells hung 1000 bells all around the city. At 10:11 am, Tucsonans rang their bells together all over the city. I rang my bell. Ethan and I attended an Interfaith Service at St. Augustine Cathedral. Then we built our own memorial for all those who we lost. We held our own Candlelight vigil and prayed for the well-being of our community.
